Activities:

Identification and Analysis of Good Practices regarding ICT services for tourism in rural/mountainous areas:

A group of activities in this project have as an aim to exchange experiences among partners on topics related to the implementation of ICT services and technology for tourism in rural and mountain areas. Through this exchange of experiences, the project tries to share and disseminate the existing knowledge related to ICT and Tourism to all partners included in the project. These exchanges of experiences will provide to all participant regions important inputs to include in their Action Plans in order to improve their competitiveness in the Tourism sector.

Thematic workshops:

The knowledge will be transferred in part through the organisation of transnational and thematic workshops. During the workshops, the good practices analysed will be described. The first thematic workshop will focus on how to implement ICT services for rural and mountain tourism, taking into account the preservation of cultural and local aspects and it will take place in Crete (17-18 of May). More information available soon

Study Visits:

With the aim of supporting the drafting of the future Implementation Plans and to improve the analysis in depth the selected good practices, the Partners having a special interest for specific good practice will organize a visit in the relevant source's region.

Implementation Plans:

These final documents will be the core output of DANTE and they will be delivered by regional and local governments/agencies involved in the project
The implementation plans are going to describe how each participating “region” commits itself to integrate, after the end of the project, the lessons learnt in DANTE into its local or regional Digital Agenda.

Light Pilot Action:

The pilot action will involve all the partners who will identify the most transferable and relevant good practices shared. Those practices will then be aggregated and tested in a representative territory presenting both rural and mountain characteristics.
